Contact, complaints and takedowns
Last updated 28 October 2026
Cinebor is run by one person. This page says how to reach us, what happens to a report or complaint, and how to ask us to remove something.
Who to contact
Ansh Sheravia, Texas, United States. Email: cinebor.app@gmail.com. This is also our contact for questions and complaints about your personal data, and our grievance contact for India. Please write from the address on your account when it is about your account, and do not include passwords or sign-in codes.
We read every email, but we are a very small team, so please be patient. We aim to acknowledge a message within 3 days and to give you a full answer within 15 days. Data requests are answered within 30 days. We cannot help in an emergency; call your local emergency number (112 in India, 911 in the US).
Reporting a person or a message
- Use Report on the message or the person in the Green Room. You can add a short note.
- When two members report the same message, it is hidden from the cast until we review it.
- A person on our team reads the report and the messages around it. They either dismiss it (the message comes back) or confirm a violation.
- A confirmed violation earns a warning, then a 24 hour mute, then the account is closed. Serious cases can skip steps.
- The person who is reported is not told who reported them.
For anything the buttons do not cover (for example something that happened outside the app), email cinebor.app@gmail.com with what happened, when, and the display names involved. If you think we made a wrong decision about your account, email us within 30 days and we will look again.
Asking us to remove content
If something on Cinebor infringes your copyright, uses your name or identity without permission, shares your private information, or is otherwise unlawful, email cinebor.app@gmail.com with:
- who you are, and a way to contact you;
- what the content is and where it is (the cast, the display name, and roughly when);
- why it should be removed (for copyright, the work it copies and that you own or represent it);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised, and that your information is accurate.
We will review it, remove content that breaks the law or our rules, and may tell the person who posted it. If it was removed by mistake, they can ask us to look again. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.
Requests from the authorities
We respond to valid legal requests from courts and law-enforcement bodies. Send them to cinebor.app@gmail.com. We may tell the affected person unless the law forbids it or it would put someone at risk.
Reporting a security problem
If you find a flaw that could put members’ data at risk, please email cinebor.app@gmail.com before telling anyone else. Do not access other people’s data or disrupt the service while you check. We will thank you, fix it, and not take action against you for good-faith research.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Cinebor. If something is hard to use with a keyboard, screen reader or in your colour settings, please tell us at cinebor.app@gmail.com.
